Exploring Eastabuchie - Then & Now

Eastabuchie is a small community in south Mississippi.  Crazy name?  Maybe.  Okay, yes - in fact the locals aren't even in agreement over the spelling.  Some signs show E-a-s-t-a-b-u-c-h-i-e and others adapt with an extra t as in E-a-s-t-a-b-u-t-c-h-i-e.  Either way, it's a place worth exploring, a slice of the deep South that is both compelling and complacent, complex and simple.
